I loved reading this. #1 gives me hope as someone who is turning 30 next month. Hoping to leave all of the comparison and anxieties in my twenties and focus on what's in my control. Thanks so much for sharing <3
Happy early birthday!! So happy this resonated. Theres something about time feeling like it’s moving so fast that what’s out of our control is louder but there’s so much peace when focusing on the in our control. Still has to be a daily reminder sometimes but it makes all the difference.
My best friend actually suggested yesterday to sit in the anxieties / comparison for 90 seconds and then focusing on what you can actually control after those 90 seconds feels a lot easier so going to try that too!
As someone who recently turned 31, thank you for writing this! Many of these habits are applicable to my life, and I found your words really comforting and inspiring. There are so many “how to be in your 20s” articles out there and not enough advice for the 30 somethings 🤍
Im so happy this resonated. I was thinking about this the other day - there’s so so much about 20s and it feels like crickets for 30 something’s. I know a lot of it is probably because what’s directed towards 30 something’s is maybe done in the form of motherhood etc but I do crave for of it too!
Resonated with the first point so hard. The immense clarity that I have now between what situations to fret upon and what to forget about cause they’re not under my control is so liberating. Is this why most people say their 30s are better than their 20s haha
I needed to hear this, especially moving to a different town or city. i want to move to copenhagen so bad and i visit there quite a bit but i have family and a partner here in the UK
Im so happy it found you at the right time! I definitely feel you on the challenge of when there’s more people directly affected by another move. I do love that you get to at least visit there quite a bit and can get that fix in!
The most potential! I know it can seem daunting but something really does somehow just switch on of being like “wow I didn’t realize life could be like this!”
I loved this. Now where to move? I don’t want to stay where I am and all I know is the sea is calling.
Oooo Jessy I'm going to nudge you towards San Francisco! Recently moved here from NY myself and absolutely not one regret... sea, sun, space!
One of my good friends is moving to San Francisco this month and she’s so excited!! So happy to hear that you’re loving it!!
Ooooh yesss I’m here for anywhere close by the water!

My 30s are so much better than my 20s!
I love hearing this!! I never really believed it until I started experiencing it. 30s are SO good!

Right?? It’s like oh if I had known this was on the other side of 29 I would’ve be so much less panicked!

Great advice for any age.
💕💕💕 so glad this resonated!!
My favourite is number 1! Doing that is so important. I love my 30s and have no clue why the obsession over being a 20-something still exists.
Right?? It's wild how quickly transition between fearing my 30s because we're told the 20s is where it's at to then a giant sigh of relief in our 30s
Love this, edging into my 30s myself and need the reminders that this new decade is one of potential!

Get the second dog! Love that validating nudge.
Do it do it!! I can’t imagine not having my two little silly gooses
Truly loved and needed this list. Thank you!
Im so glad it resonated!! 💕💕💕
